VLC Media Player

To enjoy watching movies and TV series, we use VLC media player. It's very light-weight and can play most commonly-used audio and video formats, and you can even play your DVDs and VCDs on it.

We were using Cyberlink Power DVD before because we were skeptical about VLC. We even enjoyed watching movies on Winamp because of the fast rewind and forward functions.

But, inspite of all, VLC media player is the best choice for us when it comes to enjoying our fave movies or TV shows because it's easy to use, and it supports most of the codecs used on DVDrips or releases out there.

If you're having troubles playing some movies because their codec is not yet supported by VLC, then we suggest you download the Combined Community Codec Pack from their official website.
